"Was a great little bungalow. Perfect for a couple or maybe a small family or friend group. Maybe 2 mjn walk to the beach. It’s very close . the beach itself is very nice and would have been great for my 8 year old if she came with us. Everything you could need is their chargers beach buggies towels, cooking stuff, grill , chairs . Tiki bar is nice. Hot tub is great and stays hot! Kitchen was nice. Would definitely stay there again. 2 negatives was that the AC would turn itself up after a few hours and we prefer an iced dungeon lol. A bigger sun shade over the hot tub would be great, there are some higher building around that can see down. We loved it and will be back for sure. It was an amazing place."

The quaint casita is perfect for a solo traveler or couple or couple + a little one or fur baby. If you don't know the area, read his local guide for some great tips. "We really enjoyed Mike's Airbnb. It was decorated very nicely and very clean. The Sonos sound bar and surround sound speakers in the living room were great as well as the Alexa in the bedroom. The Tiki bar and hot tub were awesome too. There was a nice park nearby that we could walk the dogs and the location was very convenient to lots of restaurants and the beach. Mike was very responsive and had great suggestions."

"St Simons is a very dog-friendly island! Mike's place was exactly as described, very comfortable with all the

amenities. Great location - a short walk to restaurants and the beach was just around the corner. Mike was just a message away and quick to respond. We would stay here again!"

"It was exactly as described. We wanted to travel with our 3 dogs, which sounds like a lot. And I was worried about the space not fitting us all. But it did. Our 3 pups are pretty easy mostly and they do their own things. And with all the parks and trails near by, we were able to keep them tired. We enjoyed hanging out front in the tiki bar area during the afternoon & the hot tub on the back deck every night. Mike did recommend a few dog parks near by so when we arrived we were able to get them out and walked immediately. He also recommended a few restaurants, we weren't able to make it to them all as we were on a short trip.

But he was very nice and offered additional assistance if needed. The checkout is early, but easy. We were able to make it out just in time without feeling rushed. Check in was even better. We drove 4.5 hour, asked for an early check in, and he was able to accommodate which was very convenient and appreciated. The place is adorable and very clean!"

"Our first time visiting the Island and Mike's place was a great location for the things we were most interested in. We had a battery go out in the CO2 detector while there, and Mike was quick to fix it. Even left us some complimentary passes to a local attraction since it had woke me up early. Definitely recommend this as a great option if staying in the area."

"We had the absolute best time! We had everything we needed and then some. Such a cute, cozy retreat and close to everything for our 2nd family reunion in SSI. Mike and Denise were wonderful hosts and so very responsive. My only regret is that we didn't have enough time to fully enjoy all of the home's amenities (specifically the tiki bar and hot tub)!! Definitely look forward to staying here again... our pups loved it too!"

"Our experience with Mike's Airbnb couldn't have been better. It was beautiful, so clean, and right in the heart of St. Simons. Walking distance from the beach as well as several

delicious restaurants - our favorites being The Crab Trap and Moo Cow Creamery! This was our first trip to St.

Simons and we will certainly be back. I also have to mention how accommodating Mike was with us. My husband's grandfather was unexpectedly placed on hospice in June (when we were originally supposed to visit. I reached out to Mike about potentially postponing our trip to an available week in August.

Mike immediately switched our dates - no questions asked. I don't think we will ever be able to truly express our gratitude. Such kindness! We had the best anniversary trip and I intend to save this Airbnb as one of our favorites. Here's to visiting again in the future!"

"An absolute breeze!!!! This was our first trip ever to St. Simons, and on top of the several hours it took us to arrive; we were attending a best friends wedding.. with a baby!! When I tell you Mike and his place EXCEEDED expectations entirely. You could smell how clean it was you walked in the door. All areas of the home were so clean. My bare feet felt nothing on the floor! I felt very comfortable letting my baby play on the floor. The area is walking distance to the beach and Mike even has a wagon for you to use!

The hot tub was super clean and crystal clear. Mike has impeccable communication. Start to finish. Made everything a breeze. There are several restaurants close by that are delicious. From bacon wrapped shrimp and crab legs over at "Iguanas" or three different types of corn bread at "Barbara Jeans" to name a few! The area very safe and family friendly. I really appreciated the security system they used. Very easy to use, and helped us feel extra safe. Best pace and host!!!"

Mike and Denise had everything labeled which answered even our most basic questions like "where is the light switch?" There was even a handwritten note when we arrived wishing us a good stay and alerting us to a new rug that had been installed. The location is literally, as other have mentioned, 1 block from the beach or about 2-3 minutes if you walk slow like me. The beach was clean and super quiet which was exactly what we were looking for.

My one regret is I didn't get to try out the jacuzzi. It was wayyy too hot the week we were there, but I did get a chance to peep in the see that the cleanliness was superb inside. I felt at home here and I have a feeling that most will as well."

"I'm not sure if there are enough positive adjectives to describe our experience with Mike and his perfect little home away from home! He supplied us with everything we needed and then some even down to which light switches go to what light. I HATE trying to figure that out. It may appear like a small place but it is beyond enough room for me my husband and our German Wirehaired Pointer. It is a great location and so close to the beach! We sat out on the porch at night and never heard a peep. We were in desperate need of a vacation getaway and we were not disappointed. It's is a great area! Most everyone rode bicycles, golf carts or walked. A great way to explain it is if Mayberry was the location of a Hallmark movie. 10/10 recommend and are already trying to plan when to come back next year!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here, and so did our pup! The house was clean, comfortable, and has everything you need (and more!) Truly just a 2 or 3 min walk to the beach, and a 10 min walk to great restaurants. Just a heads up for dog owners-there is no immediate green space around the house but a nice grassy area near by. This was no problem for us, but just worth mentioning. We would gladly stay here again! :)"

"This is our new favorite place!! Just like the description says: Close to the beach. Clean. Quiet. Mike communicated with us throughout our stay -- making sure everything was good. The mixture of the charm of the island and this quaint cottage made it the perfect vacation for my wife and I and our little dog. All of the other reviews are accurate - it is about a 2 minute walk to the beach and Mike even has launch chairs and a little wagon to carry them in. The hot tub was great. It was set up perfectly for me to even work a little during our stay - with power chords already set up for cell phones and other devices. Honestly, you really don't need to bring much as the description of all of the amenities are right on track. We ate several meals at home because it was so quiet and enjoyable that we didn't want to leave! We travel quite a bit and this is a real value - and honestly one of our new favorite spots for the money."

My husband and I recently returned from a week long stay here and I can honestly say it was even better than we could have expected. "Great location. Cottage is the perfect size for two adults plus dog. We appreciated the supply of soaps and paper goods, also very much appreciated the outdoor shower. When we had down time we relaxed in the front sun room with either the air-conditioner on or with windows open and fan on. Did not try the hot tub...next time. Yes, we will be back!"

"My stay was absolutely perfect! Mike was very helpful with restaurant selections, things to do, and how to navigate this amazing island. His place was extremely clean and very easy to find and access. There is a hot tub that is VERY clean and easy to use. I will 100% be staying here again!! This place has easy parking and really close to beach access. Everything was awesome & he is a really friendly host.

Proximity to the beach could not have been better and there are several restaurants within walking distance (get there early or make a reservation, they're always packed!). "Our stay at Mike's cottage was so relaxing and carefree. The cottage had all the linens, generous shower items and kitchen essentials needed to enjoy the week. Having a dish washer, washer and drier was wonderfully convenient. My husband, the dog and I enjoyed being so close to the beach shopping and restaurants. We can't wait to come back again."

"Mike's place was perfect for our group. As many have said, the location is ideal for walking/biking to the beach access & for several great restaurants nearby. The outdoor space was carefully planned as there is privacy on both sides & we could park our bikes out of view. Though we didn't partake of the grill or hot tub, the outdoor shower was great after the beach & we had breakfast at the tiki bar. The sun room is a nice space for relaxing & the dehumidifier did a great job after a heavy rain one night. The kitchen is well appointed & spacious. I did miss having a set of measuring cups but we made do. Awesome refrigerator and gas range! The den was comfortable & we were so impressed that Mike included kids puzzles and an array of books. It was also nice for our party to have a second bathroom option off the den. My only suggestion would be for a lamp on the bedside table for reading without the glare of overhead lights. Mike was available for any questions & easy to reach."

"The place was amazing with easy access to the beach and within walking distance of several great seafood restaurants. We ate at Crab Trap, Crabdaddy, and Fiddlers which are all a few blocks down the street. The kitchen has everything you would need if you wanted to cook something and the private hot tub was perfect. "Over the last 3 years, we have traveled a good bit with our dogs and stayed in quite a few Airbnb properties. This was the best so far! Mike's cottage was clean, well equipped, beautifully decorated, and very dog friendly! The location can't be beat, a short, very easy walk to a wide and dog friendly beach. A full service kitchen and gas grill when we wanted to cook, several great restaurants 2 blocks away when we wanted to go out! And a private hot tub for relaxing. Mike was quick with answers when we had a couple of questions and asked for suggestions. 5 stars in every way"

"We had a wonderful stay at Mike's vacation home on St. Simon's Island. It is very conveniently close to all the beautiful beaches, parks, and surrounding island, but is set in a quiet neighborhood that makes it a relaxing place to return to and recharge after a long day of exploring the islands and beaches. The home itself is warm, inviting, and spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed, a kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal, a large, open living room, and a wonderful hot tub on the outdoor back porch to unwind after a long day! Mike is very friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything and that things were going well throughout our stay, and he made the check-in and checkout process a breeze as well! Aside from the beaches and islands, the home is reasonably close to Savannah and Jacksonville as well, making visits to explore those cities a fun day trip as well! We loved our stay at Mike's home on St. Simon's Island and we highly recommend staying here!"

"Exactly what & where I needed for a solo get-a-way on Labor Day! Mike's place is uniquely charming & also up-to-date! Checking-in was a personable experience--Mike came by to show me all the details of what's provided--plenty of beach gear to choose from - fantastic hottub - smart options w/ lighting & more! He filled me in on all the best restaurants in town, where to find them--& what to expect from the surroundings...he was available throughout my stay for any inquiries & he arrived upon check-out to make sure everything was to my satisfaction and to see if there was anything that I needed to be brought to his attention within the cottage or its amenities! Above all else- I gotta say-- after i left he found a bathing suit that I left behind & was kind enough to go out of his way to UPS it to me! I cant thank him enough for such an excellent Labor Day getaway!! Already planning my next stay! =)"
